Resume:

Nick's first martial arts experience was Judo which he started as a young boy back in 1979. Nick started studying martial arts seriously during the mid 1980's after leaving school and came across Aiki Jujutsu in 1988. This was the turning point and the art which Nick knew was the main focus for him and has continued with ever since, due to it being a complete art encompassing everything including weapons techniques and the Jutsu and Aiki principles and movements.

Whilst practising and teaching martial arts for over 20 years now, Nick has had the pleasure of training and studying with some of the best instructors in the UK with direct lineage. He was also a part time Police Officer for seven years and has instructed Police recruits in arrest and control techniques as well as self defense and awareness for schools.

Nick studies and teaches martial arts purely from a traditional aspect and believes that they should be utilised and passed down the same way as they have been for centuries. He believes that martial arts are for defense and combat situations leading into personal and spiritual development.
